Join us as we embark on a fully Guided Sightseeing Luxury Coach Bus Tour to McBride, British Columbia and then return back to Jasper on a train journey through the incredible Rocky Mountains.
Explore a little further into British Columbia along the Robson Valley with the snow capped Cariboo Mountains on one side, the majestic Rocky Mountains on the other as you make your way to the quaint McBride Train Station for your train journey back to Jasper National Park. Highlights include a stop at Mount Robson, the Highest Peak in the Canadian Rockies!
Unfortunately, we are unable to book any Dome Car Seating with VIA Rail.
Please bring a piece of Government Issued ID as VIA Rail requires ID for each passenger. You will not need a train ticket as our driver/guide will have everything prepared for you and your group.
We recommend bringing a camera, water, snacks and lunch as the train no longer supplies their snack cart as per COVID-19. McBride Station typically has a small food canteen but selection may be limited during this time.
Dress comfortably! Most of this tour will be on a train and bus with a little bit of walking around at Mount Robson.
Lunch is not provided on this tour, please bring enough lunch, snacks and drinks to last the 6 hours.
In a typical summer season there is a café in the Jasper Station and a café at Mount Robson that have not confirmed seasonal hours in Summer 2022.
There are cafes in McBride that you could get a takeaway lunch from.
Vaccination proof is no longer required on the VIA Rail train, you are required to wear a mask while in the station and on the train.
Bookings cancelled 48 hours in advance will have a zero percent cancellation policy on the SunD0g Tours Sightseeing portion.
VIA Rail has implemented as of June 13th 2022 a $25.00 per ticket cancellation fee on all tickets. Should VIA Rail hold this fee at the time of cancellation this will be held when you request a cancellation.

Please note there are no pick-ups at the Overlander Lodge, Pocohontas Cabins, Jasper Campgrounds, Jasper East or Hinton.
Cancellation/Reservation Policy:
Cancellation fee: 48hours before departure; refundable less a $25.00 + applicable taxes service charge per person. Within 48 hours non-refundable. A $25.00 plus applicable taxes will also be applied for any reservation date changes per person.
