& Initiatives supporting our local community
and communities around Jasper.
To the Future
Leading the charge - the Federal Government has a commitment to achieve 100% new light-duty zero-emission vehicles sales by 2035, Canada is becoming a global leader in the transition to ZEV. We would like to pursue Hybrid SUV Vehicles by 20XX and the use of EcoDiesel in our mini buses. (Petro Canada has not yet made EcoDiesel available in Jasper.)
Sustainable Jasper
During the summer we have an E-Bike rental program to encourage tourists to see Jasper National Park by foot and bike with net zero emissions. Year Round we support our local community with transit incentives and locals discounts on one way and return shuttles to and from larger cities. We encourage our staff to walk and ride their bike to work.
Water for the future
Currently we supply bottled water to guests on our tours. As a result we have implemented a recycling program that guarantees that all bottles that can be recycled on the buses are recycled to the bottle depot that supports local charities. Moving into the future we are investigating a reusable solution that allows guests to have access to water on tours.
